Subsidies

There are several ways to finance a training programme with The Lean Six Sigma Company. In many cases, it is common for the employer to cover the costs, and arrangements can easily be made. Paying yourself? Instalment payments are possible — contact us to arrange this.

Participants may also benefit from additional support options, including educational leave in Baden-Württemberg and Hamburg and, in Austria, potential funding from the Public Employment Service (AMS) in the event of unemployment.

Return on investment (ROI)

Results and hard data are often the strongest justification for an investment — and this is no different for our Black Belt training.

After training thousands of participants, we consistently see that Black Belt projects deliver a return of 5 to 6 times the initial investment, often already achieved with the very first project.

Dates and enrolment

During the training days, you can fully focus on your development as a Lean Leader. We provide a professional learning environment, including ample parking, coffee and tea, soft drinks, snacks, and a full lunch.

With this all-in approach, you can concentrate on strengthening your leadership capabilities, developing your coaching skills, and successfully guiding your improvement project.

1. Can I enrol for a course without any prior experience?

No. This programme is designed for participants who already have experience with Lean or Lean Six Sigma, such as Lean Practitioners or Green Belts.

However, it is also possible to follow the Lean Leader programme as an extended format that includes the full Lean Practitioner training. In that case, you will start with the fundamentals before progressing to the leadership aspects of the programme.

The Lean Leader training builds on your knowledge and focuses on developing your leadership capabilities, enabling you to guide improvement efforts, coach others, and align initiatives with organisational objectives. Throughout the training, you will work with practical scenarios, exercises, and application in your own work environment.

During your improvement project, you will receive guidance and coaching from an experienced Lean expert, helping you successfully lead, support, and sustain improvement within your team or department.

2. How does this training support my career development?

The Lean Leader equips you to take on a leading role in Continuous Improvement within your organisation.

You learn how to guide improvement efforts, coach others in Lean principles and tools, and align initiatives with organisational objectives. This enables you to drive performance beyond your own team, support the development of others, and contribute to sustainable improvement at a broader organisational level.

3. How does this contribute to my personal development?

You develop a structured and leadership-oriented way of thinking that is applicable across roles and industries.

By learning how to guide others in problem solving, support decision-making, and approach challenges in a systematic way, you strengthen your ability to lead improvement efforts and build confidence in driving sustainable change within your organisation.

4. What future-proof skills will I develop?

The Lean Leader equips you with the skills to guide and sustain Continuous Improvement within your organisation.

By applying Lean principles in a leadership context, you learn how to coach others, align improvement efforts with organisational objectives, and embed structured ways of working. This enables you to drive lasting improvements, develop high-performing teams, and create sustainable value across departments.

5. How does this contribute to a culture of continuous improvement?

The Lean Leader enables you to actively shape and sustain Continuous Improvement within your organisation.

By guiding teams, coaching practitioners, and embedding Lean principles into daily management, you create a structured and consistent way of identifying inefficiencies and improving processes. This ensures that Continuous Improvement becomes part of how the organisation operates, rather than a one-off effort.
